Hello my fellow classmates. It has been twenty-five (25) years since graduation at Great Falls Senior High School. Since then we all have ventured out and away from our home town and some of our classmates are still within the local area. Since then a number of us have inquired about a reunion and this is what we came up with. We wanted to know how many of you would be interested in having a gathering just to reminisce and catch up since graduation; nothing big yet simple and inexpensive. If you are interested this is what we propose:
We could gather the weekend of the 2010 Great Falls High Homecoming. Perhaps we can meet up at the game sitting together and showing our pride in our school colors of Black Jeans and Red shirts or possibly getting T-shirts or Sweat-shirts to represent the class of 1986.
We could then get together Saturday as a group. I don’t know what activities that would be available but the few classmates who are in the surrounding area I would love to chat with you and perhaps find out what you would recommend.We could have an informal dinner reserving enough space for all participants and if you want to bring your spouse or significant other that would be fine.
We could have a dance sponsored by the class of 1986.
During the dinner we could have something like a roast and do similar things such as:
Show “before and after” photos in PowerPoint
Pass the microphone for introductions by table.
Open the microphone for interesting stories.
Most gray hair
Least hair
Most changed
Farthest traveled
Most kids
Lives closest to the school
Most dangerous job
Most recent baby
Lived in the most places
Most recent grandparent
Most or highest degrees (who couldn't stop going to school?)
Most eligible
Most exciting or interesting job
Classmates who have served in the military
This list goes on and on and we want to make this fun yet memorable. I am estimating between now and homecoming we have approximately six months of planning and actually reuniting. So to start off if you can contact either me (Sandra Brown-Rogers) or Todd Wright at the emails or phone numbers below so we can get started with a headcount of participants that would be great.
We also request that if you have stayed in touch with other classmates to please pass this information on. We don’t have everyone’s contact information however we feel if we get enough people to pass this information on we can reach out to all of our classmates not excluding anyone.
